TechBrain was founded in 2002 under our original name, Blue Networks and Technology, as an IT support partner for small businesses in Perth, Western Australia.

Growing strongly over the next decade, our business expanded, allowing to service a wide range of industries. We established a niche within the medical and professional services verticals, allowing us to improve our service and solutions to businesses within these fields.


New ownership in 2016 saw a
rebrand to TechBrain

During those first 16 years, we saw rapid change and evolution in technology, and the business world became more and more competitive.

A change in ownership allowed us to grow, and TechBrain evolved from a small IT business to a fixed fee Managed IT Services provider. We broadened our services to include Cybersecurity and Cloud Services. Our growth allowed us to shift focus, delivering IT solutions to mid-market organisations across more than two dozen industries.

Most importantly, this growth allowed us to build an organisation in WA that had our employees needs at heart.

With a commitment to social contributions, instituting unlimited annual leave, and putting efforts in place to become one of Australia’s first carbon neutral MSPs, we made an effort to do things differently.

And by doing things differently, this empowered us to attract the best team possible—and your business can see the results.

Our focus on social contribution within the areas of homelessness and emergency services was recognised by the Western Australian Government with the Volunteer Employer Recognition Awards. We are proud to support On My Feet in their efforts to make a difference in the lives of those at risk or dealing with homelessness. To date, On My Feet have helped hundreds of people across Perth, Melbourne and Cape Town, South Africa, and created more than $20 million in community value.
