We are seeking a person who is not only passionate about technology but passionate about helping people, to join our amazing NetAdmin Team. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager you will be based at our West Perth office working with our predominantly CBD based clients in the mid-market space (20-200 seats). This is the right role for a candidate that wishes to specialize in a career that delivers solutions to this market.
Responsibilities for these roles include:
Providing Level 2 IT Systems Engineer technical support to our clients by providing direct support either over the phone or face-to-face in the field to our clients to assist in desktop, software, server, network and other related infrastructure issues, installation, configuration, operations, maintenance and security; Identifying improvement opportunities to our clients to ensure that they have peace of mind that their IT systems are reliable, up-to-date and secure; and Adhering to and improving the Company’s technical standards, processes and documents.
An addition to Level 2 work, we expect that the successful candidate will actively working on developing their skill so that they can gain the experience required to become a competent Level 3 ITSE. However, it should be noted that all team members are expected to support each other to ensure that service levels to our clients are met, which does mean that at time you will be required to provide support that is technically “below” your level.
The successful candidates will have:
A funky pair of socks (but if you don’t, we will give you some when you start and, on your birthday). Highly skilled client support and relationship management skills. Relevant Tertiary Qualifications and MCSE or MCP certifications A valid Manual Driver’s License The ability to assist non-technical people understand technical aspects. Exceptional planning and organisation skills. High level written and documentation skills.
- Ideally have experience in:
A MSP or external provider role and/or experience in providing detailed account of time for billing purposes Microsoft Office 365 Microsoft Teams (Advantageous but not essential) Sharepoint Experience working within a management platform such as Labtech or Kasaeya (Advantageous but not essential) Experience with Azure or IaaS (Advantageous but not essential).
